Month (90 - 45 Days out)
We'll communicate with you periodically to keep you up to date on its status and notify you of any requested actions.
To ensure you receive all your transition communications emails, please add Ascensus to your email provider’s safe senders list.
Email Whitelisting Instructions
We'll send a questionnaire for you to complete, which will confirm your payroll specifics, such as frequency of contributions, payroll vendor, and funding instructions.
Month (45 days out)
We’ll provide a package via email that contains an updated Service Agreement for Ascensus recordkeeping and other services or products used by your plan, and which may require your signature. The package includes a copy of a required participant communication mailed via USPS to your employees’ addresses on record. You can also email this to your employees to ensure receipt if your census files are not current.
Month (30 - 15 days out)
Just before your plan goes live is a great time to learn about your payroll processing options and get a head start on prefilling your data for your first submission.
Share employee resources
Remind your employees to visit their transition timeline for information and deadlines regarding account distributions, transfers, loans and registration.
Month
Once your plan goes live, your transition will be complete. Your new plan website will be your one-stop dashboard for all the updates and resources you need to run your plan.
